The Pydantic Confidence Check
Welcome to 30 days of Pydantic — here's why data validation is the foundation of reliable software.
Before you write a single model, let's take a snapshot.
Below are ten statements about data validation in Python — specifically about Pydantic, the library you're about to spend 30 days with. Some of these will sound familiar. Some will sound like a foreign language. That's exactly what we want.
Rate each statement based on how confident you feel about it right now. Not how confident you think you should feel — how confident you actually feel. There's no passing score. A row of "Not at all" is a perfectly valid starting point. In fact, it's the most common one.
On Day 30, you'll see these same ten statements again. The distance between your answers today and your answers then is the whole point of this track. You can't measure growth without a baseline.
Be honest. Nobody sees this but you.
